If you’re on a crusade for a healthier scalp, look no further than this restorative treatment. Superbalm is packed with oils, waxes and soothing essential oils to give maximum attention to scalps in distress. Using your fingertips, massage a small amount onto targeted areas of your scalp (rather than your whole head or hair) and leave it for about 20 minutes before rinsing out. Shampoo and condition as usual.

my scalp was horribly dry and flaky the sales lady helpfully suggested superbalm which I would not of picked up without her advice as the label is all about scale treatment. It has a pleasant medicinal like scent. The lady and the label suggest using small amounts massaged into problem areas but as my hair is fine and thick I found that near impossible to get the product to my scalp. Eventually I figured out a method that worked for me - part hair and dab on all over scalp then massage in. Comb and leave 20 min then shampoo out. I did this before bed and went to sleep with wet hair.Read More

I have Psoriasis on my body and scalp. I stumbled across superbalm looking into what could help a particularly bad flareup. This stuff is amazing. It has done what a really strong steroid based treatment was doing and this is all natural! I rub it onto the affected areas of my scalp before bed and leave it in overnight. I then shampoo out with a shampoo bar in the morning. I couldn't be happier. I hated using a steroid. I'm using it on my skin along with a prescription non steroid treatment and it's definitely on the improve. My only regret is that I can't buy a bucket of the stuff!

I’m normally satisfied with every product I buy from Lush, but this is the first one that I will not returning to. I applied this as directed on the tin. It doesn’t specify how much you need to use, just not to leave it in for more than 20 minutes. My hair is quite thick, so my logic was to use a generous amount, so some would actually reach my scalp. I cannot stress to you enough how terrible of a decision this was. 5 or 6 washes in, I have managed to get almost all of it out of my hair. It leaves an incredibly waxy, greasy residue that made my entire head feel heavy, and my hair stiff.Read More
