We've said goodbye to this product to make room for some exciting new launches in the near future. If you're looking for something similar, head here for more Shampoo Bars.

There’s no need to be modest about having great hair once you’ve used this - you’ll want to parade around town. Godiva cleans and conditions with a host of nut oils and butters, and then leaves a heady, lingering scent of jasmine on your newly-glossy tresses. It’s stuffed with butters and oils to condition, moisturise and soften the hair: cocoa butter, cupuaçu butter, shea butter, camellia oil, organic macadamia nut oil and extra virgin coconut oil.

The Godiva shampoo bar is honestly a "gift of god" as its name implies. I have super thick, straight, long hair and the Godiva stood up to that challenge. Not only does it clean out the dirt and grime of continual backcountry trips, but it makes my hair so soft that I ask strangers if they want to touch it...

I was so excited to try a shampoo bar after all the hype, and was keen to make the switch to no packaging. I was excited at how well the bar lathered, and it did smell divine. The lovely girl in the shop helped me choose this particular one as she said it was super moisturising, which it was, but unfortunately it did not last me the 80 washes that it promised. After only six weeks, the bar itself became moosh messy and difficult to use, I ended up keeping it in an empty lush pot but it still managed to become all deformed.

I love my Godiva bar. Keeps my hair soft, clean, sweet smelling, and is so good for the environment. I did find that it made my hair a little bit frizzy at first BUT keep going. After the two weeks it calmed down (I also found using a vinegar rinse once a week helped through the transition stage). AND It last so long that it's even cheaper than the hair products I used before. I'm never going back to shampoo in a bottle!

This is possibly my favourite product. I have eczema and use this shampoo and it doesn’t burn, keeps the natural oils at bay and restores my hair’s original state for as long as 3 days in summer without a wash between! The best shampoo I’ve used by far. Can’t wait to try the soak and float!
